on ice training

The Legend Hockey Development Program gives athletes the unique opportunity to interact with and learn from a variety of coaches and/or scouts from NHL, Division I & Division III collegiate, WHL, USHL, NAHL, and Tier I AAA programs.

Participating in on ice training from these coaches and scouts allows players to learn from different coaching styles and receive a unique opportunity to build relationships and connections with these coaches.

On ice sessions will expose athletes to many different coaching styles.  Sessions will include skating specific instruction, skill work, intense small games, flow drills and position specific emphases.  Players will benefit from an elevated pace of practice and learn to process multi-functional drills and games.

off ice training

Players train off ice to improve agility, speed, coordination, strength and more through custom and innovative programming for the hockey athlete, including strength training, foot speed and agility workouts, cycling, and yoga at the Sanford Fieldhouse.

Sports nutrition

Nutrition Specialists provide hockey athletes information to make educated decisions regarding nutrition for athletic performance.  A sports nutritionist teaches Legend Hockey Development Program players how to maximize power and endurance, as well as overall health and performance. Players are exposed to instruction on daily eating patterns and nutrition tactics used during training and competition, including preparation and recovery.

The Legend Development Program is a great opportunity for players to strengthen their game. The staff and professionals that they bring in know how to get your best out of you.
